Distance creates a longing, an absence of physical sensation between two people. The desire to be touched, to feel, can, at times, become unbearable.
Untouched provokes a range of possible narratives between the artist and her viewer…as well as the missing other. By employing a minimalist and somewhat veiled approach, Untouched is an experiential encounter which is at once melancholic and erotically suggestive.
